In 2014 nearly a third of the population held a bachelors degree or higher. From 2000 to 2014 the median household income increased by 13 percent to 51534. Greers Role in the Regional Economy The nearly 35000 jobs in the study area make up 6.6 percent of the regional base. Greers position in the region inuenced by its location on I-85 and proximity to BMW the airport and the inland porthas made it a popular destination for a variety of industries.
